Back at it!

We finally had school this week, but luckily our SIM tests were moved to Thursday and Friday this week. Because we didn't really plan to teach today, I had a little more wiggle room in the schedule to integrate some of the awesome @edcampawesome resources that I learned about. I was able to show my students Plickers as well as Classflow, and they were quite excited about them both!!!

Today I kept it simple for the fact that I haven't had much time to delve into Classflow's awesomeness just yet, and I didn't want to overwhelm my kiddos at first. If there is one thing that I've learned, is that I get quite excited about introducing a new resource to them and go at it full force and they can't handle that. So my goal in introducing things to them from now on is to take baby steps.

Today I was able to upload my already made math slides onto Classflow, and share certain ones with them so they could show their learning. We were able to split into groups of 3 and 4 and students responded well to that grouping. I was very impressed at their ability to work together, and share the few iPads that we do have to complete this activity. I am very excited to see how this resource will change my teaching as well as my students learning experiences.. Why didn't I know about this before?!?!
